TAKING FORM
material expeiment, 2019
Taking Form is an experiment series about how different materials behave when they are in a grid shape.
Observing the projects by Superstudio and their critical way of looking at architecture and society, I took inspiration from „supersurface” the grid blanket which they use in their projects covering buildings and objects or as the ground to visualize their distopic visions or utopian ideas. By applying the supersurface they challenged the way we perceive the built environment around us. SOMETHING INTERNAL

THE COMPROMISE IN COLOR IS GRAY
research, 2012
I started to follow color in public space and noticed that balconies are often colorful as well. People paint them to make it more personal and friendly. Strangely, I realized that it is often contagious - if someone starts to paint their balcony, there is a chance that others will follow. This could result in colorful facades, which gave inspiration to the project.
